The News of Hope: Naloxone Outreach Project provides free, no-barrier access to naloxone through self-service boxes placed in high-need areas across Wake County. By ensuring lifesaving overdose reversal medication is always available, we empower communities to prevent overdose deaths and save lives. Each box is stocked with naloxone and resource guides, reinforcing our commitment to harm reduction and accessible care.
Illuminate North Carolina is committed to education and empowerment in harm reduction and recovery. We offer trainings on naloxone use, overdose prevention, and recovery support, equipping individuals, organizations, and communities with the knowledge to save lives. Through workshops and peer-led education, we foster a greater understanding of substance use, stigma reduction, and effective support strategies.
